Yes Enlisted is FREE But the Volume of things the Game wants you to Spend Money on is Insane.
Some Say Pay to Win - Some Say its Not...
In my Opinion if ANY Paid item Gives any Slight Advantage in Game then that's Pay to Win.
The Fact you can get Better Squads or Weapons ect with Real Money while also Paying to be a Premium Member with Benefits is Alarming.
Dont get me wrong i Myself have Not Encountered a Situation where i thought another Player had an Advantage over me YET.
Granted a Player can Buy Stuff and that alone does Not make the Player Better.
For Example a Player can Buy OP Weapons but if they Suck and Can't Hit the Target or is Slow to Respond ect then its Not Pay to Win in that Instance.
BUT If A Player that CAN Hit the Target and has Thumbs and is Half Decent then in that Instance the OP Weapon would be Pay to Win.
Regarding the Overall Gameplay i found Enlisted to be Fun BUT Very Clunky and Janky.
Controls Feel Better after Changing Settings BUT still feels a bit off.
Movement is Fine even if it is SLOW especially when Side Stepping / Walking Sideways ( Mega Slow as if 500mph Wind is Pushing you Opposite Direction ).
Overall i had Fun and it was an Interesting more Realistic Take on the WW2 Shooter.
Think about Position and where other Players would be hiding or Moving to, While also thinking about how you would advance and take on the enemy team.
OR Just use the Decent Weapons and if you have a Decent Response Time you can Literally go in and Mash the other Players and use Cover to your Advantage.
O YEAH the Menus and Layout and UI are Terrible and a Mish Mash of Stuff all over the Place at FIRST GLANCE - But once you get used to it then its Fine.
As a Free Game its Worth a Try BUT as a Main Game you will Play all the Time thats up to You.
