XDEFIANT is being Shown as a COD Killer.
After Playing i do Not think its a COD Killer.
Granted COD Games over the Years have become stale and Not as Good as its Previous Older Games.
So Between People having COD Fatigue and Wanting something New to the Overhypers for Views, This Game Xdefiant will of Course get Overhyped and Classed as a COD Killer.
Xdefiant lacks the polish that COD has Regarding Movement, Hit Reg, Audio / Footsteps, Consistent TTK, Overall smoothness, Lack of Weapons, Bland Operator Abilities in the Sense only a Couple will mainly be used/ Meta.
Plus You Cannot Go Prone / Lay Down... Why?
Game still has Connection issues and Lag Spikes.
Xdefiant will do well because its FREE but if you had to Pay for it then it would Flop.
Xdefiant will do well because its NEW but will get stale or abandoned over time for other games.
Xdefiant will do well because its being OVERHYPED but that hype will fade as others stop playing or covering the game because they are bored or the game Needs Improvements which wont happen or will get worse.
Xdefiant will do well because plenty of people will play at First but the Player count will soon begin to drop due to Crossplay PC vs Console.
Over Time the Majority Playerbase will be PC Players.
Overall if you are a Call of Duty Fan then you will Enjoy Xdefiant for a Time until the Next COD or you get Bored.
With Xdefiant being Free i can see it becoming a Microtransaction Mess at a Later Date, Fingers Crossed it Does Not.
Xdefiant seems to Lack General Content for Instance only 4 Assault Rifles, 4 SMG's, and the other Classes having only 2 or 3 Weapons.
As a Free FPS Game its Good but its Not a COD Killer.
Pray that this Game lets you select which Game Mode you want to Play.
Some Maps are Ok but others are MEH or just poor Cookie Cutter attempts at Complex Interesting Layouts when in Reality Annoying Poorly Layed out Maps.
