Hey, guys! Great news as Netflix confirmed the sequel to their 2020 mystery movie Enola Holmes. It’s no surprise that Enola Holmes 2 was given a green light by Netflix: after the September 2020 release, Enola Holmes became one of the most-watched Netflix Original movies. It has been watched by nearly 80 million households in the first 4 weeks and currently ranks seventh among all English-language films on Netflix. On Rotten Tomatoes, viewer approval score stands at 70%, while critics give it 91%, plus 2 award wins and 11 nominations. Today is September 29, and filming is scheduled to start any day now on the streets of London. Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown returns as the titular character Enola Holmes, and Henry Cavill will reprise his role of Sherlock Holmes. They are joined by Louis Partridge, Helena Bonham Carter, Sam Claflin and many of the original cast members. Don’t fix it if it’s not broken: so Netflix brought back Harry Bradbeer to direct the sequel. 17-year old Millie Bobby Brown will again serve as the producer alongside her older sister, 27-year old actress and producer Paige Brown. The Netflix movie is based on the six-book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries by American author Nancy Springer, so technically Enola Holmes franchise could have four more movies.
