Entropia Universe: Gain Mining Skills With This Low Cost System!
51Today I want to show you how to grow your mining skills in Entropia Universe with this simple, low cost system!
We are back on Planet Cyrene and the first thing we want to do is head over to the 0x101 Supply Depot and grab our daily repeatable mining missions that reward us with ARC Faction Badges.
Next we want to hop over to ARC Staging and we want to grab ALL of the Iron Mining Missions from the two robot NPCs on the first level. Then we can go upstairs and grab the repeatable daily mining missions from the NPC Will. These missions will all reward us with mining skills we can use to grow our HP! (specifically the skills Prospector and Surveyor are the ones that contribute to HP).
Coming back downstairs we can grab a repeatable daily mission for yellow crystals from a Mine-R-Bot that rewards us with a Cyrene Mission Token and then we need to teleport over to Risen Island to pick up one of the most valuable mission chains. Here we find another Mine-R-Bot that will give us the Miners Paradise mission chain.
Now to complete this epic mission stack we also want to make sure we have all 10 missions that reward us with the coins we need for the Epic Jellyworm Pet. Specifically we are wanting mission #5 Rock and Stone. If you don't yet have the Jellyworm Pet missions you can find more information on them by visiting cyrenedream.org.
Now we need to gear up! Even new, low level players will love this because we are going to use TT gear exclusively! We start by grabbing 4-8 Limited mining finders from the trade terminal. These have low decay cost and only use 3 probes when searching for Ores + Enmatter which is 1/10th the cost of a normal mining finder.
We will also want to have an UL Exhumer from the trade terminal on Next Island and you may want to actually have 3-4 of these so you don't have to worry about running back to a repair terminal all the time.
Last we will need to have Universal Ammo or Survey Probes.
Once the missions are stacked and our gear is ready to go we can begin running a mining route in the south, center part of the Cyrene map right between two popular teleporters.
Today I'm going to show you the EXACT route I run and how I move around the mob spawns in the area. What's really nice is we don't need to measure the distance between drops, we just need to drop probes as fast as we can.
Now let's get into the mechanics of how this all works to help us gain HP while also helping us get close to break even or possibly even profit:
We want to focus on Jellyworm Pet Mission 5 Rock and Stone. This mission requires us to find Olerin Stone 5,000 times! It doesn't matter how big our finds are; we just have to find it 5k times.
The key is that all of the missions we stacked in the background work on a points system and those missions all DO rely on size.
What this means is that even though we are using a TT finder with very little cost we are still going to slowly have those background missions ranking up and completing as we focus on trying to complete the Jellyworm mission. Yes, they will rank up slowly; but they will rank up!
As those missions rank up we cna turn them in, gain our skill rewards which help us build our HP and mining skills and then we can get the next mission in the chain and keep going.
I'm only half way through the Jellyworm mission but I've already hit rank 4 on Miners Paradise and I'm on rank 2-3 for many of the other missions. The best part is when you get to the higher ranks the skill rewards are MUCH bigger.
Even better, the tt mining finders are ideal! Bigger finders would mean more time spent pulling resources out of the ground. By using a TT finder we can maximize our time dropping probes and minimize our time extracting resources!
And because we are using TT gear we won't have as much variance in our returns meaning we can expect to get returns fairly close to our actual cost in the long term which we should see in action before we complete the Jellyworm mission. We may incur small losses here and there but overall we should be pretty close to breakeven since we use TT gear.
