Entropia Universe LEVEL 100! A Look Back & My BIGGEST Mistakes

Today we are in Entropia Universe and celebrating a BIG milestone! Today, July 16, 2025 I finally hit level 100!
I'm on Planet Cyrene taking part in the Imperium Snow Base event and today is the day finally hit level 100! So today we are going to celebrate, take a look at some of my other profession levels and then we'll take a look back at some of the BIGGEST mistakes I made early on.
First let's take a look at some of my other stats: Evader level 62, Animal Looter level 58.4; overall not too shabby! I'm actually a bit higher on the defense side than most people in my play range simply because of all the time I spent farming defense skills early on.
So what are some of the biggest mistakes I made early on? This is a question I get pretty often so I want to take a look at a few of my early mistakes so you don't have to make them as well.
First I should've listened to my mentor more. Don't get me wrong; there are a LOT of bad mentors out there. So I guess really the first step is to find a GOOD mentor.
A GOOD mentor is a long time player with a solid grasp on the game, mechanics, economy; someone who really knows their stuff. If you're a new player and you find a mentor of that caliber...listen to them! They've probably been there and done that!
My second big mistake was wanting everything to be unlimited and repairable instead of using the incredible Limited gear that was at my disposal. Like a lot of new players I was just stubborn and convinced myself that repairable somehow meant better when many times nothing could be further from the truth.
As a result I wasted a ton of real money on a lot of useless gear. Probably the biggest area of regret is dumping money into old school unlimited weapons that don't max until level 100.
I still have my sniper rifle which I can FINALLY use but there is a lot of old school unlimited gear that can be absolutely useless because of the level 100 use requirement. Nothing can kill your bankroll faster than a weapon with 0/10 hit and critical hit ability.
I STILL use a lot of Limited armor simply because it gives me the full protection level regardless of TT value which is not the same as UL armor which provides less protection as the TT value decays.
From a skilling standpoint limited gear is often ideal as well; especially when skilling incredibly quickly.
And my final BIG mistake from my early days in Entropia Universe? My mentor told me to stay away from Mayhem and I refused. This is a happy mistake as my Mayhem journey worked out for me and it's still one of my favorite in game events.
BUT; it was a long hard expensive journey to be sure. There was a lot of luck and God made sure the stars aligned just right. It could have gone very bad on multiple occasions.
And even though mayhem went well for me it did require me to do virtually nothing between mayhems back when it was a competition with level caps. As a result I had to keep my profession levels artificially low. If it wasn't for that I would've hit level 100 over a year ago and I would already be past level 60 Looter.
Overall it's been an amazing journey and I'm so glad you have all been there to take this adventure with me! So where do we go from here?
Well after years of grinding, tons of PED cycled and countless hours of grinding.....I guess it's time we actually get started! After all; this game is a grind through and through!
