Well thank you Mr. Announcer! That's right this new CDF Resource Mayhem event is unlike anything we've seen before. We will start at Fort Ithica or Nymptown talking to the new NPC to get the mission. In order to progress through the mission we must come back to the NPC and turn in resources. Each turn in will give us about 200 Mayhem Tokens and about 100 points of mission progress.
There are also several bonus missions. If we can complete the main mission chain and all of the bonus missions we will be rewarded with a Rare Mayhem Token!
The bonus missions can only be completed once and award 100 points each. This means we need to complete the bonus missions and do 90 turn-ins as an optimal strategy. But there is a small issue....the bonus missions have choice points.
While there are several easy bonus missions several are going to be very difficult, or at least costly, to complete. The first will be the mission requiring that we get 1,000 PED of gems to drop while crafting.
If we can get past that initial choke point then we have two very difficult mining missions. One requires 50 mining finds of 50 PED or larger and the other requires 10 finds of more than 200 PED each.
Last we have the issue of crafting 500 PED TT of welding wire. This is going to be difficult because the price of Dark Lysterium has skyrocketed since this event started.
The good news is this event has really caused the economy to take off. Resources are in high demand and there is plenty of opportunity for players of all experience levels regardless of your bankroll.
If you are a low level player with a small bankroll you can still profit from this event. That's great since Entropia Universe is a real cash economy MMORPG where our PED has real world value!

Also be sure and check out the new Legacy Strongbox that can only created by progressing through the main mission chain. This new strongbox contains all previous Mayhem event rings, the new Chronos armor, and other secret goodies Mindark has yet to reveal.
I personally believe this strongbox also includes all the items from mining and beacon strongboxes as well as some completely new, as of yet undiscovered, items!
