We go through setting up an easy fight to save Gareth, and then we explore the rest of the waypoints we need and find Slane, the winter dragon.


****OK! So I messed up the recording here and hit stop when I went to resume combat. So I'll sum up what should have been posted here. After defeating the magisters near Gareth, carefully engage the ones in the immediate next area. Continue in the direction of the 2nd group and you'll get to a bridge that leads you east towards another waypoint. After getting that waypoint, head south and free Slane the Winter dragon from the totems keeping him locked up. Do not talk to the blind magister near this waypoint yet. After finding Slane, go to the map marker that tells you where the witch Radeka is to find our last waypoint of act 1. Enter the cave for some exploration xp and then leave. Feel free to swap thieves and steal some stuff, as you should be at level 7 by this point.
