Epic Difficulty
Walkthrough Playthrough
I actually ragequitted at Valkyrie and deleted my original run for the first two stages. Then I regretted my decision and eventually beat the game from the 66% save. Next, I rerecorded the first two stages and ended up with a different passive ability setup. I'll take this as a lesson not to ragequit so easily in the future.
I used this guide, which lists some info for each enemy wave, as well as info on the passive abilities.

I also found this Kongregate thread about beating the game on Epic difficulty. Unfortunately, I only found out about it after winning.

As promised, most of my passives in this run are slightly better than in the first and second videos. Mana Leech definitely helps Matt keep his MP up even when I don't have Rune Blade equipped and Natz has the bunny passives to make healing easier. And yet I still managed to make so many amateur mistakes.
Boss: Zombie Hydra [ 7:10 ]
I had to make sure Matt and Natz were buffed and equipped before the battle started so that I can immediately begin sealing them. Once the two heads are damaged enough, Cleaver + Heaven's Gate should be able to hopefully finish both heads off in one turn. I miscalculated the timing for Cleaver in the video, but luckily Natz managed to save the day.
Boss: Valkyrie Tank [ 20:40 ]
My strategy here was suboptimal. I should have relied on stunning Lance via Stunner items and Blizzard Unleash rather than syphoning him. Worse yet, I didn't pay attention to his debuffs and let him get away with an Ion Cannon, nearly costing me the battle. Thanks to some luck, I managed to survive, but still, that was pretty shameful.
I heard that your own Ion Cannon is a good way to deal with nuke turrets, but I never tried it for myself. Regardless, be sure to avoid allowing the tank to have two empty slots. It'll gain deadlier attacks and potentially summon two nukes.
If Natz learned Thunderclap via using Thunderbolt a lot, her chances of stunning the enemy increases, which should provide an advantage against Lance in case Matt is unable to stun or syphon him.
Unlike me, you may want to use the Blood Blade for when you don't have to worry about Lance. This will ensure that counterattacks heal Matt, making it easier to stay alive.
