[Epic Difficulty] VS Neon Valhalla! | Epic Battle Fantasy 5
There's mostly two ways of doing Neon Valhalla, in early game where you use Anna with Earth's Whisper and do an Earth Elemental strat along with Twilight Tango for applying Curse. Because I'm not using Anna, I opted to go for a Bomb Elemental strat (Since Matt's Earth elemental swords are locked behind late game). Fusion Blade does pretty nice damage with Amethyst Earrings replacing the near useless Burn status with Dry to further boost his Bomb Damage. Of course, the finaly carry of the team, Elder's Wisdom Natalie. It's Earth elemental already, AND it has the ability to enchant target which bodes really well for Matt to utilize that double damage boost. NoLegs is the Weaken applier and general support, flexible enough to move in and out of battle and Lance has his Oblivion as the trump card and with his debuffing set, can provide nice and handy debuff support.
Neon Valhalla's gimmick is it's ability to heal itself by 2% (3.5% on Hard or Epic difficulty) of it's max hp every turn, and boy is it a lot of hp it heals back. The damage it provides is also really hefty and it's turrets punish you if left untouched, so not only do you have to deal with the turrets, but also the fact that you need to deal enough damage so it can't heal more back. Oh and most of it's attacks are non-elemental too so good luck using elemental resistances. It's only elemental attacks are it's machine guns (bomb elemental) and it's honking attack (wind elemental) otherwise you'd rather have pure stat defenses over resistances too (hence why my NoLegs is weary unusually bulky gear instead of it's evade gear).
