Episode 16 - Pushing to the President! - Let's Play Citizens of Earth [Blind]
In this episode of Let's Play Citizens of Earth; the Capitol Building isn't easy to navigate through. What architect was hired to design this maze, no wonder public productivity is at an all time low!
Citizens of Earth is the JRPG offspring that would be born if Earthbound and Suikoden (or Pokemon) would mate. Take on the role of the Vice President of the world and recruit your constituents in a mechanic similar to Suikoden's recruiting feature. Developed by Eden Industries the game was released in 2015 but was almost canned before being saved and published by Atlus.
In the game, you take the role of the Vice President of the Earth the day after winning the election. You begin the game trying to solve minor quips in your hometown (such as protests and various side quests), however, something sinister is lurking behind the shadows. Recruit your voters and save the day!
Citizens of Earth has a recruiting mechanic similar to Konami's Suikoden. There are 40 citizens to recruit, each with their own requirements that need to met. It could be winning a body building competition, bailing someone out of jail, or saving a giant pastry! Each citizen has their own abilities in battle such as healing, leveling up stat boosts, or your run of the mill damage dealer.
