Part 44 of my interactive 100% playthrough of 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors on the Nintendo DS.

In this part, we go through the Steam Engine Room. This is a complex room, but with only one simple puzzle. You can find an explanation of the only puzzle in this room below.

—— The Metal Discs ——
This puzzle starts when you investigate the machine next to the exit door with the 3 metal discs in your inventory. This puzzle is quite simple, really. See the red lines on the discs? Switch the discs of place with the arrows, then rotate them by touching the disc you want to rotate. Your goal is to align those red lines and form a shape close to a sun. That's it! Doing so will cause the exit door to open.
