ESPN has mishandled a lot of situations over the past few months, including the Robert Lee one in which they were worried about social media backlash. Most recently, Jemele Hill, ESPN host of The Six with Michael Smith, fired off a few tweets about how Donald Trump is a white supremacist. President John Skipper released a statement from ESPN about the tweets, but took no action, which upset the conservative media after other employees had been suspended or fired for sharing their political views.
