Eternal Champions is a 2D fighting game developed by Sega Interactive and released exclusively for the Sega Genesis in 1993. Unlike most fighters of the era, it was built from the ground up for home consoles rather than arcades. The game features nine unique characters—each plucked from different time periods and resurrected by a mysterious entity known as the Eternal Champion.

These warriors, including a ninja assassin, a cyber-kickboxer, a vampire biochemist, and a prehistoric hunter, must battle for a second chance at life.
