Fatal Fury (also known as Garō Densetsu Shukumei no Tatakai and Fatal Fury King of Fighters) is a 2D fighting game developed by SNK and ported to the Sega Genesis in 1993 by Gaibrain. Set in the gritty streets of South Town, the game follows Terry and Andy Bogard, along with Joe Higashi, as they enter the King of Fighters tournament to avenge their father's death at the hands of crime lord Geese Howard.

The Genesis version features three playable characters in story mode and a two-plane battle system that allows fighters to dodge between foreground and background layers. While the port retains much of the original Neo Geo game’s structure, it suffers from reduced animation, missing characters with Hwa Jai and Billy Kane demoted to background characters only, and downgraded visuals and audio.
