Man, this was total crap, and I still beat the SDA run's last segment by 45 seconds. With good luck I could probably close to double the time gained. I made the mistake of going into the fight with my shield still up, meaning that he'd use dispel magic and I would either have to wait ages to enchant my Gladius, or I'd have to enchant it again after the spell. I chose to do the latter. Also, you can have almost every single essence spawn in a single area, saving HUGE time, but you have to be ridiculously lucky. I also didn't really need to use dispel magic in the second half of the fight because the barrier wasn't blocking access to Pious. Oh well. =P

And I really don't get how SDA timed this run. Mad Andy's time is 1:58 lower than it should have been. If I use SDA timing, my time would be 2:15:23. o_O
