For those of you who don't know, it takes me a long time to finish games, but even more so PS3 games. I started Eternal Sonata about a year ago, and I have just now finished it. It's a fun game, but I've just been playing so much other stuff at the same time that I just haven't played this one all that much. I do think it's a great game, and I think it's probably one of those games that a lot of people know of, but not very many people played, and even less have beaten.

So, since I'm playing on the PS3 version, I thought it would be fitting that I ended the game with the two exclusive PS3 characters (that's Crecendo and Serenade) and Claves, since I've missed her since she left the party about 40 levels ago.

Since I went through the Mysterious Unison side dungeon first (to get Claves back into my party and all) this final boss was ridiculously easy, but I'd imagine that he would have been much harder if I hadn't. (For the curious, my main party for the Mysterious Unison dungeon was Allegretto, Jazz, and Polka, hence why their levels are in the 70s.)

As for the ending itself, When I played it through the first time (while not recording), I was extremely confused and the entire thing seemed like a WTF kind of ending. Then I watched it again while recording, and a lot of things made more sense to me. I've heard that the XBOX360 version's ending is a bit different from the PS3 ending, so if anybody'd like to share the differences, that'd be nice.

Overall, I think it's a great game that seems to be underappreciated pretty often. I'm not sure what it did to get all the hate, but I had a lot of fun with it.
