Tales of Symphonia Ending - Part 1 / 1 - Last save to (Spliced in) Opening
Striking off another JRPG on my backlog. This time, it's Bandai Namco's Tales of Symphonia, which is good timing with Tales of Graces finally making an appearance here in the states on the PS3 with rumors of Vesperia finally for PS3 as well.
Compared to Legendia, I found this game to be a lot more engaging and the characters to be a lot more relatable. This voice acting has also improved quite a bit. I think this is the best voice acting I've heard in a JRPG.
Final boss is reasonably challenging this time around, unlike Class of Heroes (another game I'm currently playing). Mithos has a lot of light spells, so I was trying to go through my inventory last second and finding anything that resisted light elemental spells, which I found for everybody except Lloyd.
After Legendia, this game has renewed my faith in the series. Maybe it's a good thing I played Legendia first, because if I had finished this game first, I probably wouldn't have cared enough to finish Legendia.
On a final note, the Opening that the video ends with is actually spliced in. After the "Fin..." screen, it goes directly back to the main menu. I spliced in the opening between the two to keep it consistent with my other videos with opening movies.
