ETS2 Scaling Test
3I didn't know what the scaling setting was for in Graphics-Options until I read this;

Like the poster, I had mine set at Ultra and scaling defaulted to 125%
After reading, I changed mine to 300%
This did drop my framerate from a previous 60-70 fps to 35-40 fps. That's adequate but I wouldn't want to set the scaling any higher.
The biggest difference is the visual quality. I don't know how it's going to translate in the YouTube conversion, but it's nothing short of stunning on this end.
You can see in the video that it's running smoothly enough at that setting (and recording with Fraps) to accomodate a full power, fully loaded, high speed run.
My video card is an XFX R7870 HD. I'm controlling the game with a Logitech F 310 gamepad.
