Eva Zu Beck is a solo female adventure travel YouTuber and TV Host with notable series in Pakistan, Socotra island, and Syria. After a traumatic experience when she was younger, she has a phobia of being adrift in the open ocean. This is called Thalassophobia, and it's very common.

I connect with Yahya, a Master Freediving instructor in Muscat, Oman. Through his dive shop, Divers Planet, he agrees to teach Eva how to Freedive. The art of apnea; breath holding underwater.

Over the course of a week, we slowly re-introduce Eva to the Open Ocean again, in a fun and more informed way. Will she conquer her fear and become a mermaid? Or disappear forever in the deep blue ocean... (She's still here) But did she succeed?
