TL;DR - total skill points do update in real time, except it won't show up until you interact with the skill queue somehow.

whether this means something deeper that we can use to help us when we are skill farming is another thing, hopefully it will allow us to understand how far we can push the extraction without breaking our character like i have been doing so in the past few days trying to farm on characters close to the 5.5m sp threshold.

I was watching the video closer and noticed i got 20k sp for no explainable reason...i have no freaking clue how i go from updating the total by 5k when REDEEMING 5000 unallocated, then when i switch the skills in the queue i suddenly gain 20k (and that i don't lose those points when i switch it back) - note at that point i hadn't actually applied any unallocated yet

btw, at the end of the video i digress to talk about my microphone settings/positioning, a new idea of mine to use soundcloud via mobile, plus trying to lessen the sound of my fans to help cool my computer.
i actually kinda like the very last setting, tbh, it almost seems more stereo like in my headphones for some reason.
The cellphone under the microphone is being picked up by the mic very well so i'll turn that volume down next time, see if i can play with my phone's volume to get it right too.
