Every 28 Hours Play & Discussion | Talks at Google
Every 28 Hours” is a series of one-minute plays focused on the contested statistic that every twenty-eight hours a black person is killed by law enforcement in America. Inspired by true stories and the Black Lives Matter movement, the plays expose the impact of racial violence.
Following the production, Googler Jane Park moderates a critical and hopeful discussion between the live Google audience and Panelists, Andy Hinton (Google, VP), Justin Steele (Google.org, Principal), and the “Every 28 Hours” Creator & Directors, regarding the importance of racial justice and our collective responsibility.
As part of a national movement, The Every 28 Hours Play was being done in theaters across the United States for a few days in 2016. FaultLine Theater’s Cast and Directors agreed to do it one more time, at Google
