The Tom Clancy’s series began life when UbiSoft started working with Red Storm Entertainment, a developer owned by Clancy that endeavoured to turn his stories into games. The franchise is divided into three main subseries; Rainbow Six, which centres around squad-based, tactical action; Ghost Recon, which put players into the shoes of a special unit of black ops soldiers; and Splinter Cell, which are action-adventure titles with a focus on stealth. Over the years, there have been dozens of games inspired by Clancy’s work, with several unique versions of the same game having been developed for different consoles, and today, we’re going to separate the Splinter Cell-Yeahs from the Rainbow Sucks.
