46Friends, welcome back to the channel! Hako here, and I'm beyond excited to break down what might just be the best livestream the Zenless Zone Zero dev team has ever produced. They unveiled everything coming with the 1.5 update, "Astra-nomical Moment", launching on January 22nd. Here's a quick rundown of all the cool stuff:
Phase 1 introduces Astra Yao, the S-rank Ether Support from Stars of Lyra, a famous singer and actress in New Eridu, with unique abilities like healing and attack buffs, enhancing team synergy especially with Evelyn in Phase 2. She comes with a stunning new skin!
Ellen Joe, our beloved S-rank Ice Attack agent, makes a return with her own new skin, a schoolgirl outfit, for those who missed her at launch.
Phase 2 brings Evelyn Chevalier, an S-rank Fire Attack agent, Astra's manager and bodyguard with a Black Widow-esque vibe, featuring dynamic combat mechanics centered around chain attacks.
New Story Episode: "Astra-nomical Moment" dives into a conspiracy against Astra Yao during her New Year's concert, involving multiple factions including Cunning Hares and Victoria Housekeeping.
Events Galore: From the Urban Video Game Festival at Godfinger Arcade to the Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship where you'll be fishing in Port Elpis, there's no shortage of fun. Plus, the Ridu's Got Boo pageant for Bangboos, where you can customize Eous and win Nicole's new skin for free.
Gameplay Updates: A new mode in Simulated Battle Trials, Endless Tower: The Last Stand, and Perpetrator Battle in Hollow Zero. Plus, a new arcade game, Mach 25, for racing enthusiasts.
Co-op Content: The Bizarre Brigade in Godfinger Arcade gets multiplayer, and we're getting a Fall Guys-like mode with Bangboos, which looks absolutely cracked!
Quality of Life: Expect generous check-in rewards, new dynamic backgrounds, and a new photo mode for capturing epic moments in combat.
New Bangboo: Meet Snap, the new S-rank Bangboo, adding to the fun.
