1 We’ve compiled a list of facts about social media sensations The Fine Brothers! Let’s get into it.
2 Benny Fine was born on March 19th,1982 in Brooklyn, New York with his younger brother Rafi Fine being born on June 9th,1984 also in Brooklyn, New York.
3 The brothers grew up in the 1990s in an Orthodox Jewish family in Brooklyn.
4 Growing up the duo would make videos, saying that Benny would get Rafi in all kinds of weird situations.
5 Benny started college at age 15, while Rafi attended Dickinson College for two years before transferring to Hunter College, where he got a degree in film studies.
6 The duo would then create short sketches and even full length comedy films shot with action figures and displayed it to their friends!
7 In the year 2000, the fine brothers created a live action feature that made its way into comedy film festivals.
8 They planned to make a film each year after that in hopes to one-day break into Hollywood.
9 Even though they won young filmmaker awards, they soon realized that this plan would not work.
10 In 2003, they created their first website and uploaded their first video to the internet a year later!
11 They believed that the internet was the new film festival.
12 The duo then moved from Orlando, Florida to Los Angeles, where they continued to upload more videos on their YouTube channel, which was created on June 4, 2007.
13 The two soon joined the Maker Studios venture, and stated that after speaking with Shane Dawson about a plan for the project, "we were the head of production and head of creative.
14 The duo ran Maker Studios throughout 2009 and were responsible for the early success and planning for what became known as Multi-channel networks
15 On October 16, 2010, they uploaded the first episode of Kids React, the first series in what would later become a notable React franchise on YouTube.
16 On April 30, 2014, it was announced that a spin-off of the Fine Bros' React series called React to That was going to be aired on Nickelodeon.
17 They also created and host the TV series Six Degrees of Everything that aired on TruTV in 2015.
18 On January 26, 2016, the Fine Brothers announced that they would license and trademark their existing React series and let creators create their own react series.

20 In which the term was used for other video titles, even those that weren’t anything like the Fine Brothers content.
21 The Fine Brothers then said that they wouldn’t be taking revenue from users that were affected or putting copyright strikes on their videos.
