Evolution 2: Far Off Promise, on the Sega Dreamcast, was resumed. I began again with the current dungeon, reaching floor (7) out of ten (10). The current dungeon is ‘Forest Depths.’


Summary:

Evolution 2: Far Off Promise is the second game in the Evolution series. It was developed for the Sega Dreamcast. It is one of the rarest Dreamcast games in the PAL regions due to a limited print run. The North American version came with a mail-in offer for the Grandia 2 soundtrack. The Dreamcast version is fully voiced with a Japanese audio track.

The game continues the story of Mag Launcher, a young Cyframe user, and his adventures through the ancient ruins of lost civilizations. Mag is accompanied in his mission for The Society by several familiar allies in his explorations of several ruins near the town of Museville.

DreamShell was also briefly shown. I require making some adjustments, prior to DreamShell working properly. I believe the 256 GB Micro SDXC card is too large, and a 32 GB SD card with a 32 KB cluster size as opposed to 64 KB cluster size, is the maximum; I will research this, and resume with DreamShell another day. Next, I will convert .cdi discs of demos, promotional materials, and press releases of Sega Dreamcast materials (varying discs), to sdiso, for running on DreamShell.
