I take a look at the history and evolution of Taz the Tasmanian Devil, the tiny Toon with a gargantuan appetite. Despite being introduced in the mid-1950s, as a foil for Bugs Bunny, and only appearing in five classic shorts, Taz went on to become one of the Looney Tunes most beloved and most merchandised characters ever.
I discuss how Taz has evolved over time, alongside other Looney characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam and Sylvester the Cat, and also spotlight how animators changed his look, appearance and personality over time. Here's my look at the Tasmanian Devil through the years!
