In these series we talk about guns that have been present in the main games Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3 and Borderlands The pre-sequel.

Let's talk about The Cobra and see how it has changed.
In bl1, this was a Torgue sniper with the red text I LIKE IT. Reference to the Cobra Assault Cannon scene from Robocop.
The cobra had a 150% critical damage bonus and it was always explosive. The explosive element didn't have reduced damage against flesh, shield or armor. So you could use it against any type of enemy. Also in bl1 explosive element was a multiplier dmg for your weapon for example, X2 in the weapon card, means that there's a chance to proc an explosion that deals 2.5 times your weapon dmg, X3 in the weapon card means 3.75 times your weapon dmg and x4 times in the weapon card means there's a chance to proc an explosion that deals x5 times your weapon damage.
The combination of the base damage and the explosions was lethal. This sniper was amazing.
