Evolution of Williams in Codemasters F1 Games | 1980 - 2024
105Williams are a team with an exceptional history, and until 2020 were the third most successful team in F1 history. Sadly, the team has been on a long win and championship drought, having not won a race since 2012 (which was itself the first win by the team since 2004), and having not won a championship since 1997! The period of time since their last championship is longer than the time between their first championship and their last!
These days, the team is flawed and has outdated facilities, and they don't look like they will return to their race and championship winning form of old anytime soon. I can't think of anyone who hates the team though, and I hope that they will return to winning ways again one day. That will be a special day.

F1 2009 footage is not included for several reasons: I don't have the game. I do not know how to emulate it. It was only published by Codemasters, not developed by them, so it technically doesn't count as a Codemasters game.
