Evolve Typical Game as Hunter
I'm pretty burned out on the frustration of playing as a hunter in the current matchmaking system. I know that I can solve this problem by joining pre-made teams, but it's a pain in the ass because firstly, you need to put in a lot of work to prove yourself to a good pre-made team. Secondly, the scrub-tier premade teams often include poorly skilled players in the mix. And finally, forming premade teams myself involves telling some of my friends on steam that they aren't good enough at the game to be included, and I don't want to do that. I think that if I do well in a match, I should go up in rank, and the players who do poorly in a match (like the medic on this one) should be pushed down the skill rankings.
This causes a lot of problems with the matchmaking system, like for example - most of the hunters are grouped up in the bronze destroyer area, while the monsters freely climb the skill ladder.... but even for the monster players it's a drudgery, because you have a lot of +1 point victories against bronze destroyer player, and the *occasional* good match against equal, or higher skilled players.
So I might still play this game here and there, but to be honest, I don't care as much about new characters being released as I care about a proper matchmaking system.
