"EXIT" by Knots {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
1,608knots, the creator of this level, apologizes in the description “if the gameplay sucks” because he made the layout 5 months ago. Well, that’s completely unnecessary, because this level is very fun to play, and it doesn’t have any frustrating parts at all. It’s all very fluid (if you don’t go for the coins). In terms of visuals, I think this is an interesting level. Every part has a cool custom background, and many of them have symbols, like exclamation marks and exit signs. Together with the colors used, which are mainly grey with bright colors for smaller details, it makes every part connected to each other and gives an overall “theme”. If I had to mention a part that’s a bit below the rest, it would be 0:57. It just doesn’t have any air decorations, and at the same time the background is quite simple. He requested 10 stars, but I think this is too easy for that. It should be 8 or 9 stars in my opinion.
👉 Overall coin rating: Silver. 2/4. All the coins are hidden. The last one is visible in the normal route, but it’s hard to figure out what to do. Only the 2 first are harder than the normal route really. These coins are all good, but to get Gold they’d need to have a bit more to them. The first 2 coins are 1 or 2 harder clicks. None of them are original. Don’t get me wrong, Silver is a good coin rating for levels of this difficulty.
- 1st coin: Silver. For this coin, you have to hold at 0:29 exactly when you hit the red jump pad. This timing is much harder than it looks, and it’s quite risky since you die if you click too early. At the same time, it’s hard to figure out that you have to do this, as the coin is hidden above the normal route and out of sight. But for a level of Insane difficulty, I’d expect a bit more to do for a coin than just one click. A collectible earlier on would make it Gold.
- 2nd coin: Silver. Like the first coin, this one isn’t visible in the normal route either. At 0:50, you have to do a pretty late jump to go above the normal route. Then you have to click a blue orb, before the final jump to reach the coin. This jump is actually really hard, as you can easily die to both the saw above and the spikes to the right. Like the first coin, I’d like it more if there were more to this coin than just 2 harder jumps.
- 3rd coin: Silver. The third coin is found in the wave part at 1:23, and it’s the coolest of these 3. However, it isn’t nearly as hard as the other ones. While you’re in the sections with spikeless structures, you have to hold up and touch one button in each one. These can be seen as red rectangles. Normally you’d just chill here.You can see the coin after the part just above the normal route if you don’t hit these buttons. As mentioned, this would get Gold if it was harder, as it’s much better than the few clicks of the earlier coins, while still being hidden.
