We continue playing Starbound 1.0 from the beginning on permadeath hardcore mode.

In this let's play Starbound 1.0 hardcore video we perform some new generated NPC quests to attempt to get a second crew member and thus unlock the ability to get an upgraded ship at Penguin Pete's.

We also craft a heating EPP to allow us to get onto cold planets, where we mine for more stuff to get us better armour. We also look for more weapons.

Finally we try out the Avian Great Sovereign Temple mission to try and locate the Avian artifact. Will this be the mission that finally ends our hardcore run? And who exactly IS Hot Dude, anyway?
