Expedition to PL21-13 - Lump in the Circuits
Expedition to PL21-13 is an original album about unpaid interns searching a swampy alien planet for a robot sent by their ancestors hundreds of years ago. It’s also the second in a series about fruit in space. Check it out on Bandcamp!

Clementine's Log 02
We’re in orbit. Some kind of magnetic field emanating from the planet is interfering with communication signals, and bulbous growths are sprouting from some of the more intricate circuitry. Looks like there were some flaws in the radiation shielding. If we hadn’t had some redundant systems in place, we’d definitely be in trouble. This must be why VES-0463 went missing. Fortunately, thanks to recent laws establishing standards for environmental suits (the regulations for which were followed to the bare minimum by Proton Labs), the team will theoretically have something safe to wear down on the surface while the ship repairs itself.
I can rarely get this outdated tablet to connect to the quantum network, even on a good day, so it looks like nobody’s going to get any reports back home for a while. That’s a load off my mind. I’m going to use these logs as a personal record and just type up some official-looking stuff on our trip back.
