Experimental standard def video capture test featuring Playstation 1 (real hardware)
Breaking out a variant of my living room recording setup (Behringer U-Phoria UM2 paired with a Behringer SL 85S, Funai DVD/VHS player with S-video inputs, Diamond multimedia capture card via component video) to test SD capture now that a cheap chinese knockoff controller opened up the ability to actually use the system. Using the HDMI output of the DVD/VCR I could get 720 or 1080p via any of the capture cards I have, but there is really no point in doing that to a 720x480 NTSC signal with games that actually render probably closer to 240p if you look into the technical details.
Looking at the old, original memory card, Medal of Honor, and Twisted Metal 4 - the only games I physically have at the moment because they happened to be in the same box and who knows where anything else is. Not featured: skill in either game, nor any editing.
