Let us talk about these CHINESE inspired Digimon who are part of the IMPMON line!
LIANPUMON is based on the Chinese masks Lianpu which are used in Peking Opera and formed a complete system.
These originated from daily life experience, describing such changes of expression as white for fear, red for shyness, dark for suntan, and sallow for illness. Most facial designs attach great importance to the eyes and eyebrows.
XINGTIANMON is based on Xingtian. An official under Yandi, who fought against Huangdi (The Yellow Emperor and also The Yellow Dragon) for the position of supreme god, but he lost the conflict. Xingtian still continued the fight after Yandi's defeat, but was defeated and decapitated by Huangdi.
DIJIANGMON is based on the DiJiang (帝江)! A mountain patron god in Chinese Mythology
