Explaining the True Ending of Undertale
5In this video, I go over the True ending of Undertale.
To get this ending, you need to get the good ending (pacifist) after the bad ending (genocide).

You're dead wrong!
Chara's dialogue always has something behind it, for example, Chara asking where the knives were was back when she attempted suicide and Toriel had to hide the knives and unsharpen the tools around the house.
Asriel said Chara wasn't the best person, and she hated humanity. She never told him WHY she hated humanity, and attemopted suicide. She was abused, and she was tired of humans (who are real jerks both in and out of Undertale) and wanted them all dead. While Asriel may not believe violence is the best answer, he genuinely loves Chara more than anyone and even lied to you saying he wanted you as his sibling just to try and make up for what he had done.
Chara does not support genocide.
She wouldn't want you to finish it.
Upon her resurrection, Chara sets up a creepy scenery and asks you to erase the world, but it doesn't matter what you say. You have no power, where Chara has become Godlike. When you tell her you don't want the world erased, she's mad you decided to kill everyone and keep it that way, making you pretty messed up. She doesn't want to live with everyone being dead, and she wants you to leave her world.
Chara decided to make a deal with you. By giving your soul to her, she not only brings the world back, but she waits for you to do a true pacifist ending. She replaces you at the end to go destroy humanity, and give your soul to Asriel, allowing them both to have a happy ending and reunite with the people they care about. The painting of Chara standing with your crossed out friends is nothing more than a reminder that you killed everyone and sold your soul to her.
You might think I'm lying.
I wouldn't make this without solid evidence, and I'm not the only one who has explained how innocent Chara actually is.
As for Chara's power, well...I gave up on trying to explain how Godlike she is awhile ago.
Anyways, this description summarizes a few things if nothing I said makes any sense, even if I missed a thing or two.
