ExplainingComputers Manifesto response
2The motivation behind this speech is that I wanted to use it as a sort of launchpad for what I have to say. Meaning I didn't have to come up with the topic of discussion, if I just respond to what ExplainingComputers said. But there is a deeprer reason for why I responded to him and why I made this, it is that I don't want big youtubers alone to be the only ones who have a say on this topic.
So by doing this I'll provide alternatives to anyone who might be listening and is genuenly interested in the topic.
As the ExplainingComputers likes to talk about the gatekeepers, I don't want big youtubers to be the gatekeepers for the discussion around GNU+Linux on YouTube. I don't want them deciding what can be discussed like what ExplainingComputers wants to do. ExplainingComputers wants to dictate the people's discussions especially in the form of the fifth statement in his manifesto, he says "Separate the FOSS crusade from the use of Linux". I don't want this guy to be the one leading the discussion on this on youtube. Whether YouTube decides to recommend my video and whether people watch is out of my hands, but at least it's out there.
