3dgifartist is a British draftsman who has been making 3d animated GIFs using his CAD software and distributing them online for free since the 90s. As a child of 90s internet I have a lot of affection for this style of animated GIF as it was huge in web 1.0, with different commercial and amateur animators churning out content that would decorate homepages and webrings across the web. Upon finding out that he is still actively creating GIFs in his 70s as a retiree I've been following his work and I'm glad I finally had an opportunity to highlight some of them in a fun and festive way.
