I have been attempting to virtualize the MicroMuse MUD which was used for education in the 1990s. So far I have it running on a Raspberry Pi using the Mare codebase. It does not run perfectly yet, but you can browse Cyberion City and have fun exploring. The production version of this MUD is still running at MicroMuse.MuseNet.Info port 4201
To experience navigating a MUD, visit https://mare.hoardersheaven.net and scroll down to find the button "Play MicroMARE through the web" or use a MUD client to visit the above URL with port 4201.
