Exploring AI in the Metaverse | AI for Good Webinars
Multistakeholder collaboration and emerging technologies such as AI will play an increasingly important role in enabling the Metaverse to achieve its vast potential. This webinar will explore how governments, industry and academia can work together to ensure that the Metaverse, supported by AI, can be used as a tool for achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to education, healthcare and inclusiveness. The webinar will also look at how collaboration on the global level can address the expected structural challenges such as interoperability, identity management, privacy, security and the integration of various services.
AI is expected to be a key enabler of the Metaverse and panelists will discuss how the technology can potentially augment the experience of users in areas such as accurate avatar creation, digital humans, multilingual accessibility, VR world expansion at scale, and intuitive interfacing. The panel will also discuss the key challenges in this domain such as ownership for AI-created content, deepfakes and user transparency, fair use of AI and ML, the right to use data for AI model training and crucially how to achieve accountability for AI bias.
