Welcome to a special one-off episode of The Co-Op Couch where we are trying out the co-op mode in Balan Wonderworld! Balan Wonderworld is a new 3D platforming game published by Square Enix, and created by Yuji Naka, who created Sonic the Hedgehog! This game has made some interesting choices for co-op gameplay, including tethering the camera to the movement of player one, and not having progress for player two carry over between levels! This game has launched our movement for developers to "Respect Player 2" and not have co-op modes be a tacked on side modes between games. Balan Wonderworld is out now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC!
