6,748The "Fake VR" hands can be enabled with "vr_enable_fake_vr_test" in the console. I'm not going to be releasing any files that enable you to do this because Valve will probably put me under legal pressure and it wouldn't be the first time either.

HOW TO:
Use Steam DepotDownloader https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader to download version 1.0 of the game, one of the game's first manifests.
Once you have the files create a batch file in game/bin/win64 called start.bat with the following launch paramters:
hlvr.exe -nocrashdialogue -retail -allowdebug -vconport 29000 -vcon -dev -720
Then you'll launch the game in a window with a blank screen that says Valve, open the console with ~ key and you're good to go.
Sorry about the lag, I really wanted to record this but the only way I could do it at all was by streaming the footage to my phone with SteamLink and recording my phone's screen ://////
