Exploring The National Videogame Museum (2024)
Check out my Game Dev Projects at https://zachshirikjian.com
When I was visiting Texas, I visited the National Videogame Museum in Frisco! As an enthusiast for game history, going to this museum was a dream come true. It was fascinating to see the history of this medium properly preserved and learning new things, such as the Barbie Edition GameBoy, Dreamcast screen attachment, and a Turok 3 prototype cartridge with a Jet Set Radio sticker!
After working on The Current State of Game Preservation video,
this is intended to be a nice companion piece. I hope that we get
more museums like this in the future, and that the upcoming Nintendo
Museum can be just as good as this one.
Let me know in the comments if you want to see more Game History/Preservation content in the future!
