The Nintendo Wii remains one of my favorite game consoles of all time, but I feel that its menu is underappreciated. Today I critically analyze the UI of the Wii menu and discuss why it still holds up almost 20 years later, including its unique theming, design, and easy user experience.

DISCLAIMER: This is a reupload of a previous UISpy video from November 2023. For unknown reasons, the original collaborator featured in this video requested it be taken down, along with all of their sections. With their permission, I am reuploading this video, adding a new section about the Frutiger Aero influence in the Wii Menu. Previous sections where the collaborator spoke were rewritten and narrated by myself. I'm sorry the video had to be changed this way, but I hope you enjoy the video nonetheless, it's one of my favorite UI Spy videos thus far and I wanted to preserve it in some way.
