Here's an extended version of my percussion ensemble cover for All-Star Rest Area from Super Smash Bros. Melee! You may also know it as the Rest Area theme from Kirby Super Star (or even part of the Float Islands theme from Kirby's Dream Land) because we love recurring Kirby themes!

I can't believe it has already been a year since my 100th cover! It feels like just yesterday, yet it feels like so long ago. I've made a lot of music since then! It's funny because I remembered this being one of the first songs I mixed in Logic, so I thought I wouldn't adjust the mix very much before going to master it (since I've learned how to do that since then), but I actually ended up readjusting the mix for almost every single instrument haha. I didn't realize just how much I've learned to do in Logic until going back to this cover!

Last year when I did this arrangement, I ran into some licensing issues (that were thankfully resolved!) and wasn't able to share the album artwork and release until a few months after the video. (Usually they release within a few weeks, so this was a lot later than usual.) With that in mind, I wanted to show off this absolutely phenomenal album artwork that my dear friend made for me! I gave her the super vague request of "make it sleepy Kirby but Melee menu" and she truly outdid herself. This deserves all the attention and then some!
