External Display - Battlefield Hardline - Graphics Amplifier (GTX1070) - 1080p
****When I get better at editing and find software that I like and I have a little more time to master it, I will edit and combine comparisons as you would see on other channels.
Upon request I am going to start doing performance comparisons between my internal Alienware 15 laptop monitor versus my external LG display. Both internal and external displays are native 4k, but since games don't run at great framerates at 4k and the internal laptop monitor won't do custom resolutions like 1440p, I am going to do most comparisons in 1080p. I'm sure you'll still get the idea.
Here is the second game for the Internal vs External display performance. Battlefield Hardline and most other Frostbite Engine games run very well to begin with, but I was still very impressed with the upgrade from the laptop's 980m at about 80FPS at the most to 120FPS with the 1070 on an external display.
