Kaisen Linux is available with multiple desktop environments, containing a set of tools for system administration that can be used to diagnose and deal with failures of an installed system and its components. Aiming to be useful for IT professionals, the new version of the system is said to include a few technical changes and some visual changes. Kaisen Linux 2.1 replaces the default zsh shell for bash and abandons the themed Conky desktop. ZSH, the default terminal in Kaisen Linux, has now been replaced by Bash. Also, the Conky theme is no longer installed by default in GUIs, but is made available as a separate package called kaisen-conky, which is not installed by default. Kaisen Linux 2.1, available with the MATE 1.26.0 and KDE Plasma 5.24.5 desktop environments; It includes many improvements in design, new cloud and technology tools, updated packages and confs improvements. Major graphic improvements have been made to logos, menus and the plymouth theme.
