In this video we're going to clean the Upper Sewer Levels from Kobolds and Leeches and solve the first Special Quest which rewards us with the magical dagger "Guinsoo".

The unrecognizable rune at around 1:12 means "Entrance" and can just be read by a gnomish party member.

Eye of the Beholder is the first game of the - so called - Legend trilogy consisting of Eye of the Beholder 1, Eye of the Beholder 2 - The Legend of Darkmoon and Eye of the Beholder 3 - Assault on Myth Drannor. It's a classic first-person dungeon crawler game from the '90 which is using simplified 2nd Edition Dungeon & Dragons Rules.

Eye of the Beholder was developed by Westwood Associates and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) in 1991 for DOS and Amiga, in 1992 for PC-98 and later even ported to Sega Mega-CD and SNES in 1994. This longplay shows the DOS version of the game.
