F-Body Can't Shift Out of Park

69When it was cold outside my car couldn't shift out of P even though I held the brake down. The plunger on the shift knob wouldn't press down and I'd have to use both hands to push the plunger and be able to shift. Eventually I figured out what was preventing the button from being pushed unless the brake was held and I disconnected it. A pretty bad fix but whatever, you'd have to be pretty distracted to shift out of P without holding the brake IMO so shouldn't be a problem if you pay attention to what you're doing.
