F-Zero 99 Side by Side Vehicle Path/Position Difference - Poo vs Me, Port Town II 2023-09-21
3This is me racing with/against Grand POOBear "Poo" on Port Town II on 2023-09-21.
The other vehicles paths you see in your race/game are not 100 % their actual paths. This is not really surprising. I guess their paths are kind of interpolated through actual data, which should work in most of the cases. It is just technically not possible to get their absolute position for every single frame. Either the speed of light is too slow or our planet earth is too big. It also seems that the super sparks lying around on the track are not global for everyone.
You can see that we both are on position 5 for a brief moment at 02'31'00, then Poo crashes into the left wall, but only for me. Shortly after you can see 3 super sparks in front of Poo in his race, I only see one. "BuyPikmin2" collected some in my race.
It's not a big deal, but perhaps interesting to see.
