My Golden Torizo fight during my 100 % completion run from Retro Achievements. In the past I always struggled with this fight, especially when you try to fight him "regularly". But you can lock him in the corner and frequently shoot charged plasma ice beams to kill him quick with little effort.
Golden Torizo guards the Screw Attack, but an experienced player can skip this fight entirely and get the Screw Attack from the other side. During my 3 E-Tanks challenge run "Bare Bones" I did it this way and skipped Golden Torizo. There are also some interesting hidden specials about this room and fight.
